TODAY’S MESSAGE
Every single day our Heavenly Father waits to see you and me, and share a part of His plan for our lives. He has already made sure the path to His presence is clear through Jesus. For it is for this very purpose that you and I were created: to have eternal fellowship with our Universe’s Creator. But this fellowship is not forced upon us; we are invited to come and be God’s guests anytime and anywhere. For there is fullness of joy, peace and provision every time in our God’s awesome presence.

But then, our daily busyness, failures and human limitations hinder us from spending quality time with our God. Perhaps we do not know how we should approach Him; perhaps we feel guilty of all our imperfections and recent actions. But you know what? God is always there to listen to our hearts and provide for all we need. He has promised to be our Healer, Restorer, Provider, and 24-hour Protector. God already knows what our needs are, and He desires to be all we need Him to be in our life. We are the ones who need to take a step each day and reclaim what is already ours just as we are!

Through our faith in Jesus Christ, you and I have become covenant children. And this means we do have a right to come before God’s throne anytime. For Jesus has already made a way, and by simply exercising this divine right you and I can experience all God designed us to be since the very foundations of the earth.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for creating me with a divine purpose, and for granting me the right to access Your very presence through Jesus. I praise You today with all my heart and acknowledge Your work within me. Teach me to patiently abide daily in Your presence and help me to always honor Your name in every circumstance I face. In the precious name of Your Beloved Son I worship You today, amen.

Why complain?

TODAY’S MESSAGE
Before we even realize it, there we are… complaining. It’s so easy to complain about the cold weather (for those of us on the north side of our globe), not being paid enough, too many cars on the road, too little time to relax, etc., etc., etc. When will we ever have a “perfect” day without all this mess around us??

The truth about complaining is simple: it demonstrates a lack of trust in God’s integrity and sovereignty. When our minds are fooled to believe that God doesn’t really care about us, that our circumstances will never change, that everyone out there is against us, that we’re destined to have a “bad” day every day, then we have more than enough reasons to complain. But when we believe God **does** care for you and me… when we understand His principle of love and mercy superseding the principle of sowing and reaping… and when we choose to continue planting good seeds despite our present circumstances… then we realize that complaining is just an unnecessary and unfruitful evil not worth of our precious time, energy, peace and joy.

Do you believe God is just and faithful in all He does? Do you truly believe God has a purpose for your life, and that everything will always work for the good of those who trust Him? If you do, then, why complain? Doing so will only show that we don’t really trust Him, that we are not sure He will remain faithful as He has proved throughout history.

The solution? Stop complaining and start praising! Only then will you start experiencing all that God has in store for you. Today. Tomorrow. Every single day.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for being my True Source of everything I am and everything I have. I ask forgiveness for the times I have complained and questioned Your love and faithfulness toward me. I commit to stop complaining and instead fill my days with praise. In Jesus’ precious name I pray and rejoice, amen.

Take time to laugh!

TODAY’S MESSAGE
Some time ago I was making several errands and suddenly got hungry. So I pulled over to a nearby fast-food restaurant to get something quick and keep going. I ordered through their drive-thru window and paid my meal. Then I left the place and drove for less than a mile, when I realized, “Where’s my food??”

You guessed right. I had left my meal right at the restaurant’s window! I quickly drove back and there it was! Three cashiers were waiting for me, laughing like crazy. I had no other option than to laugh, too! At least I had my meal while making someone else’s day.

Laughter is great medicine, and we should always take a few doses of it on a daily basis. It not only helps us channel our everyday stress, but it refreshes our soul as well. And in our effort to live well-balanced lives and make a difference in others, laughter does a great job at both.

So, let’s not always take life so serious (including myself)! Simply make laughter a part of your lifestyle so you may experience its benefits and enjoy life to its fullest, just like God intended.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of laughter, through which we are able to relieve stress and enjoy life. Help us to see its benefits, not only for our own sake but for the sake of those around us. In Jesus’ precious name, amen.

God honors His promises. Do you honor yours?

TODAY’S MESSAGE
God takes promises very seriously, for His own promises are a guarantee of the faithfulness of His Word. If God cannot fulfill what He has promised, then His Word becomes void, and there is no sense in trusting God. But the plain truth is that, time after time, God continues to prove Himself faithful and He will continue to be faithful, for this is an essential part of Who God is. There is nothing in the entire Universe that can keep God from fulfilling His promises. And God expects the same from us –those who have chosen to follow Him.

The story of David and Jonathan is an excellent example of this truth. Even in the face of life and death, King Saul’s son, Jonathan, makes a promise to David to spare his life from David’s most-powerful enemy: King Saul himself. And even though Jonathan understood that David would replace him as king, he made a friendship promise to David, and kept his promise even if this meant becoming an enemy to his own father.

In this same way, God, a covenant God, will honor you and me if we keep our promises in faithful obedience to His Word. For either way, our actions will always produce a positive or negative outcome. Keeping our promises will honor God and will definitely maintain His covenanted covering over us. And the results will always turn out to become blessings.

Choose today to trust God and keep your promises. Your life, and those you love, depend on it.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for being a faithful and trustworthy God. And thank You for making me in Your very own image. Help me to commit my words, motives, actions and thoughts to Your Word, and give me the strength I need every day to fulfill my promises –so others may see Your love and light in me. TODAY’S MESSAGE
Most of us desire to reach a level of over-abundant living, to experience a successful life in its fullest sense. But what most of us forget many times is that the key to greatness and blessings is hidden behind the little, small details we human beings so easily tend to overlook. Even when it comes to dreams and goals, if these latter ones are not well-established in God’s purpose for us and followed through regardless of circumstances, the probability of reaching our dreams and experiencing success is practically null.

John C. Maxwell, a powerful best-selling author and successful leader, is clear about the connection between our dreams (big things), established goals (small things), and success. In his book, “Your Road Map For Success” he declares, “Your dream determines your goals. Your goals map out your actions. Your actions create results. And the results bring you success.”

Jesus expressed this same principle through honesty in small and big things. If you and I are expectant of God’s continually-faithful overabundant blessings over our lives, then we need to focus on being faithful in the small things. For in order to experience a successful Christian life, our actions need to follow our heart, and our dreams must be backed-up by solid principle-centered goals. And once we commit to living this way, even the impossible turns out possible in God’s time.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your everlasting faithfulness all around me. Thank You for always being there –even in the small details of life. Help me to always maintain a positive attitude and be faithful in the little things. And, as I develop my potential and reach my dreams, help me to focus on fulfilling Your purpose in my life –so that I may be a witness of Your power, strength, and never-ending love onto others. Freedom always carries a price tag

TODAY’S MESSAGE
Throughout our human history mankind has strived for freedom. In all areas of living –especially in the political, social, and economic aspects of society– our human race has struggled for independence. And those of us living in independent countries like the United States of America are debtors to all those past generations who fought and gave their lives so that future generations may enjoy freedom.

But the truth about freedom goes beyond any human or historical event. Believe it or not, you and I will *never* experience true freedom outside of Jesus Christ and a personal relationship with our Creator. Although it may seem contradictory, only becoming God’s “slaves” can we become truly free. For when you and I sincerely devote our heart and life to God’s plan and purpose, it is exactly there where we find our place in this world, the place where we finally realize who we really are and what the true meaning of our life is all about.

It is only in this reality that you and I can find true freedom. Jesus –God Himself in human form– gave His life away so that today you and I can enjoy freedom. It is up to us to acquire God’s eternal gift of salvation through faith and devotion to Him, and share it with others.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for providing me true freedom through Jesus’ death and resurrection. Help me not to take my freedom for granted, but to commit my life to pursue Your will as I share this freedom with those around me. In Jesus’ precious name, amen.

God treasures your relationship to Him far beyond your performance

TODAY’S MESSAGE
One of Jesus’ parables that I find most impacting is the story of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32). Regardless of leaving his family and misusing his inheritance, his father patiently waits for his return. And one day, from a far distance, his father recognized him and ran toward him. This father did not care how awful his son smelled, or how dirty his appearance might have been; he reached forth with his arms and welcomed his “dead” son. A feast was put in place as a celebration for the “resurrection” of this lost member of the family.

In this same way, God has already provided in our hands an awesome inheritance through His Son Jesus. And even though we might have misused these blessings and/or created a distance between ourselves and our Heavenly Father –through habitual sins and/or lack of faith or fellowship–, our Loving Father is still there waiting for our decision to come back and restore our family ties. For once we accepted Jesus to become our Savior and Lord, God made us His children, heirs of His Kingdom, and His love and unmerited favor (grace) are always there regardless of how bad we have “behaved.” But we need to acknowledge our wrongdoing, come to Him with a humble heart and confess our sin. As 1 John 1:9 clearly declares: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (New International Version)

So, if this is your case today, don’t wait any longer! God is in the business of restoring relationships, not measuring performance. Simply come to Him with a sincere heart and accept His willingness to forgive and restore you. Your life will then be free to experience the fullness of God’s love like you have never imagined.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your awesome love and grace toward me, even in the midst of my weaknesses, doubts and frustrations. I thank You for Your faithfulness to restore my life, and for providing me grace and love toward others who need Your healing touch. Help me to treasure my relationship to You as You treasure Your relationship to me. In Jesus’ precious name, amen.

TODAY’S MESSAGE
One of the major keys to success in life is enclosed in the word “passion.” Whatever we choose to do –at work, home, school, church, or business–, unless we do it with a sense of passion and excellence, we will experience very little success –regardless of the amount of money involved. Even the quality of our performance is highly influenced by the level of passion we place into our efforts. Just ask any highly successful individual and you’ll find out that a focused passion is a vital key behind his/her success.

This does not mean that we need to do everything without expecting a fair compensation or reward. Instead, what it clearly shows is that, the higher our passion for what we do, the more successful we become. We might spend most of our earthly years trying to make a living without instead living to make things happen –which is truly what brings out our very best and results in higher levels of personal and professional satisfaction.

I believe Jesus expressed this truth very clearly in His analogy with shepherds and sheep in John 10. Jesus, The Good Shepherd, was so passionate about His mission on earth that He was even determined to give His life away for the sake of His sheep. This level of passionate determination –from the Creator of our Universe– is the highest example of passion there will ever be throughout eternity.

So when it comes to focusing on what really matters in life, a “salary-minded” focus (doing everything for the sake of money and wealth alone) will only limit our God-given potential. On the contrary, a “passion-driven” commitment to living God’s purpose in our life will definitely bring about the fullness of life and abundant living Jesus promised His followers. And that includes you and me.

Choose today what your true focus in life will be. The sooner you discover your true passion, the sooner you will experience all God meant for you to be.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Thank You, Heavenly Father, for showing me what true passion is like through Your Son Jesus. Help me to focus most of my energy on fulfilling Your plan and purpose for my life. Help me to see the future with positive expectation, and to live my life every day in alignment with my God-given passion. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

Trust God for your season of harvest

TODAY’S MESSAGE
But when is it going to happen? When will I see an answer to my prayers? How much more time do I need to wait? If I have been faithful to God, when will my promised prosperity take place?

These are questions I’m sure all of us have made ourselves one time or another. But the truth of the matter is that God has always been in control of the seasons, and he hasn’t given away that position to us. Therefore, it should not be our primary focus to know exactly when and how everything will take place, but instead continue to trust and be faithful to God’s will for our life.

As we read in Deuteronomy 6:5 –also re-affirmed by Jesus in Mark 12:30–, “…you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all mind, and all your strength.” This, my friend, is what you and I must focus on every single day regardless of where we are. For in 5-10 years from now we may not even remember where we are today…

Are you being faithful in loving God as The Scriptures indicate? If not, today is your chance to start all over again. If yes, then why worry? God, The Almighty One Who has always been faithful to His Word throughout eternity, is more than able to give us far beyond our expectations, needs and desires. And even when we have not been faithful enough, He still is and will continue to be faithful to you and me because of love.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for being the Only Faithful One throughout the ages. Help me to keep my trust solely in You regardless of my present circumstances. I thank You for providing for all my present needs, and for the harvest that very soon is going to be manifested in my life. In Jesus’ precious name I pray and give thanks, amen.

God’s Love is Key

TODAY’S MESSAGE
When it comes to loving unconditionally, committing 100% to someone or something, or going “above and beyond,” what is the one key area that will always take us to succeed no matter what?

Well… the following anonymous message appears simplistic in nature yet clearly reveals the plain truth that answers this question:

What Equals 100%? What does it mean to give MORE than 100%? Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than 100%? We have all been in situations where someone wants you to give over 100%. How about achieving 101%? What equals 100% in life?

Here’s a little mathematical formula that might help you answer these questions:

Therefore, one can conclude through this exercise that, while Hard Work and Knowledge will get you close, and Attitude will get you there, it’s the Love of God that will always put you over the top!

Simple, isn’t it? In essence, live immersed in God’s love, and love others through God’s love, and you’ll definitely succeed!
